I don't know what about Thursdays that I love. One more day until the weekend. Yea! Got a shipment in of some fabrics and waiting patiently for the UPS truck with the BIG shipment of fabric! eeee That means New Rompers coming out soon!!! I will post a sneak peek of some fabrics when they come in. My seamstress's are going to be thrilled (not) ha! Good day for now!

MODEL SEARCH UPDATE: Congrats to Klohe Dickerson for being one of our new models along with her twin 9 mo sisters. We are excited to work with her and her little cuteness. Thank  you for all your entrees...seriously it was so hard! But don't freight I have all entrees in a folder, so if you get a random email to model from me don't be alarmed. :) Thank you thank you for all your love.

Wow check out one of our new Chloe romper...it's it simply divine?! The colors are right one and the color combos POP! Just listed online and we have sold quite a few to all you lovely ladies. (thank you) It is a gorgeous day here is southern California the high is supposed to be 73 YEA!! Can't beat this Cali weather. Sorry for making all you southeners jealous. :( We are still a little under the weather over here. Hoping to get out into the sun here in a few days and get back on the skinny train. A couple more pounds to lose!:)

Goodness!!! This cold has been going around and around like a merry-go-round. We have been hit again :( I am packing up all orders from the weekend and just may have to snag an expresso to keep my energy up. We are happy to announce so awesome things coming up soon here in a few days. (can't tell yet) New Spring fabrics are coming out here also in a few days and can't wait to show you all the new prints and combos. Waiting for Spring!!

We are having such a wonderful and successful start of 2015. We are over joyed with lots of orders coming in and keeping this train rolling. Blogging is not my strong area but will do my best to keep track of our foot steps weekly. Ready for summer!!

Well...of course it has been ages since I blogged. But from my previous postings you can tell I am not much of a blogger. :( Just wanted you all to know that I am still alive and well :) (for the most part) lol.

    I am getting excited about this summer, my family has a few trips planned and looking forward to spending time with my 2 beautiful girls and Handsome man. I am taking a holiday from the shop for a while and I must admit I am enjoying it wayyyy too much!! I am still keeping busy with online orders and may faithful customers...asking me to send texts pics of what I have (you know who you are) Teehehe. 

    I am taking this much needed time to relax and do what I have be procrastinating on. 

We have lived in our home for over a year now and I am still not finished with my girls room :( or mine! Bad I know...So thats what I am going to finish. In the mean time I will taking the girls so Disneyland allot and sleeping in for sure. Well until after school gets out of course.

We are planning on going to Flagstaff, AZ this summer I LOVE IT THERE!!! I would love to move out there. Then head to some other cool spots and one I am looking forward to is Mt. Rushmoore ekk..I will defiantly be blogging about that! My husbands is on a mission to get me a road bike so we can stop in Aspen or Vail to bike ride up there. I honestly don't know if I would be able to ride my butt up a hill much less than going up a trail in Vail. Ekkk On the flip side maybe I can loose a little bit of weight hehe. 

Well my house is a reck from painting and reorginizing. My hubby comes home from New York tomorrow, so I better have this house sparkling when he gets back.

{Do It YOURSELF.....Cheveron Kitchen table}

I know how the cheveron print is in {I LOVE IT} I bought this table and 6 chairs for $20...great deal right?! Well I have been currently using this table for my sewing table. I love love love it because I can use both sides. One for my machines and the other for crafting. So if you are a crafter look on Craigs list for a kitchen table and DIY!!! 

Here is the picture of the table before I painted it. (Pic's aren't professional I took them with my phone :P) Got some basic white and scraped it really quick all around to give it a shabby look

 Got some Blue painting tap and made a CHEVERON zigzag strip and started to paint!!

 Did it on both sides...and WHALA! Finished. Super easy and a fun table to use.

ALSO....you can also outline the chevron strips with color. I was wanting to use black but it wont match my decor :( Oh well. Ill leave that for someone else.

Wow...I am really bad at writing blogs, I figured out I am not much of a writer lol. I wanted to give you all an update on La' MoNique. The shop will be open this week Thursday-Saturday 11:00-2pm and then closed until the end of August. Summer festivities are here my family and I will be gone most of August. I plan to move the shop all around, and I am moving my work shop into there as well. 
The shop will still be open to the public while I am there working. This will allow La' MoNique to make more inventory and update our website with more quantities. Venturing out and participating in websites that will bring La' MoNique more exposure. Super excited!!
My time for having little toddlers and staying home has been paid (squeal). My girls will be starting school full time next month Yea! More time for momma, means more time for sewing. Super excited about moving my sewing studio to the shop.
When the boutique re-opens there will be all new inventory and have a new look. Soo excited!! Thankful for all our wonderful customers that have followed La' MoNique through the years. (6 to be exact)

SOooo saying all that the shop needs to be cleaned out if inventory! There will be a SALE SALE SALE this weekend Friday & Sat 11-2pm. All dresses & Hair accessories need to go! Come by tomorrow and check out all the SALE items.
