Excited for all the new shops coming in! We have a new little shop called "Glamourous Queen" she sells purses and zebra is her signature. She has really cute stuff!! I will go broke lets just say that lol! Another lady set up a little area she sells homemade ginger bread houses and bake goods. We will be closed on Saturday Oct 31. Although the other shops in our area are having a little grand opening with free popcorn lol. Our shop will be advertised in the News paper tomorrow Friday Oct 30 will post a photo of that. I am posting photos of our new shop that moving in called "Glamorous Queen". Also I will be posting photos of some of my inventory in the shop. Enjoy

It's been a couple of days since I have blogged, but I haven't been in the shop. Getting away is nice once in a while. Business is picking up, people are starting to share the good news that we are there. This week we have 2 more new business move in. One lady makes homemade gingerbread houses buy scratch and bake goods, so that should be more weight gain for me this holiday lol. The other shop opening is named glamorous Queen she sells Zebra everything, purses, luggage you name it. Our little mini mall we created is starting to come alive and makes that really encouraging for us business's. La' MoNique will be closed this SAT OCT 31 Halloween day. We do have our halloween dress's on SALE. Come by and take advantage of that! Until next time

Busy days

The last few days has been busy with customers, Its nice to know that people are starting to hear the word that a new boutique is open in Redlands. Now we have had a steady flow of customers starting to come around. I have got allot of custom orders this week including a tutu for a horse. Allot more people are moving into our little mini outlet next week, so that will be nice. We had another sellers move in and opened today called "Sisters treasures" They sell gift baskets, hats, purses and nike clothing. So come and check them out. I managed 3 shops today and might I say I was frazzled in the morning it was busy. Then it slowed down in the afternoon, that's the time I use for making more creations. I was thinking today of how many relationships I have built being in this business. I am great full that I can be doing something that I love doing "CREATING" and at the same time I create relationships with people.
We had a little to much fun today dressing up the poor old creepy man I am posting a photo of it lol. Anyway come by the shop this week and check out our Halloween outfits on SALE! Also out dresses are all $5 oFF. Every woman loves a good sale. Hope to see you soon!

Shopping in Los Angeles

Today we left to Los Angeles strictly for business. I did very well lol. Got allot of new stuff. I have a big order for a teenagers 16th birthday making 14 hair pieces. Market Night is tomorrow Night. Im gonna be busy here in the next few days. We have more business's moving in this week and next week so our little shopping area is turning into a little mini mall. We are getting some stylish chic womens clothing, Lotions & Potions lol. Gift Baskets and much more. We are going to be busy for the Holidays. Being a business owner has allowed me to meet allot of other business owners which is is very exciting. It seems like were all trying to help each other out it's really nice. A lady came in the shop today offering to take pictures of our little girls in our clothing, and she would develop them for us to hang on our walls for Free. That would be great business for her too. So here we are again trying to help each other out.

Los Angeles Shopping DAy

I will be going to Los Angeles today to buy supplies. I am in dier need of fashionable materials,ribbons,flowers,beanies and headbands. La' MoNique will be getting in Fall clothing soon, YEs a little late but that just means our dresses will be going on SALE! YES!! Every women loves a SALE. We will be a Market Night this week tomorrow on Thursday on State Street on Redlands, CA. Due to Market Night we will be closing the shop early at 5:00pm to set up at market night. Market Night will open at 6. We will have allot of tutu's for your little princess's for Halloween and our Halloween dress's are on SALE!! Come check us out on STATE tomorrow Night.

Mondayzz off!!

Today is Monday and La' MoNique is closed. Sunday's and Monday's are family days and days to replenish on inventory, although I didn't get very far. My sewing machine decided to not work for me again, so to the shop it goes again this month. I have so much to doooo!! I might as well buy a new machine for the price of them to fix it geez. Needless to say I didn't get very much done. Looking at the bright side My hubby came home with flowers and mula for me..awe what a good hubby. Tomorrow morning La' MoNique boutique opens at 11:00a.m. Goodbye for now.

Sidewale SAle!!

Sidewalk sale was successful! Having some inventory out in the front was eye catching to customers. We hope to draw in more business having the big street sign done in pink,black and white should attract more customers. A note to all mothers we do take in children gently used for store credit. Only clothes with no stains, tears or fading. If your getting ride of your nice clothes and dont know what to do with them bring them down and we will take them in. I will post a picture of our sign we will have in front of the coffee shop, on the corner of Orange St. & Vine St.

Hi there this is my very first BLOG ever! I will try to keep up with this. Well My name is Monique Bockmann I grew up in Southern California graduated from Yucaipa High School and got married at age 19. Wow how life flashes before your eyes so fast. Being younger you wish life would just hurry up and couldn't wait to get older, but here we are now I am 26. I married the most wonderful talented, caring, compassionate man ever whom I love so very much and is a wonderful father. I have 2 little ones that are 15 months apart that are just so adorable. My first little princess inspired me to start my little business called La' MoNique Boutique in 2006. I started selling on Ebay then to church conferences and then I started partnering with my friend Yolanda with KylieClaire Inspirations at Redlands Market Night in Redlands, CA. We were swamped with orders and business, then got offered a little space in the fox theater on 22. E Vine St in Redlands CA. We got brave and decided to try it out. We have been doing good. We will only be in that location for the holidays or longer if we will not be able to stay in that location,we will be locating else where, but we are in that location for now.
We custom make our children's clothing and hair accessories. We also sell gently used consignment top brand clothing. We make custom orders hair accessories for weddings and special occasions. We do not currently have a website up sorry! If your in the Inland Empire come check out our cute little boutique! Our business hours are Tues-Sat 11:00AM-6:00PM.
We will be having a SIDEWALK SALE this SATURDAY OCTOBER 10 from 11:00AM-3:00PM.
