Little Birdy shabby shelf

What fun making this was!!

 I had 2 old shelves I purchased for $5ea. at a little 2nd hand store

 Here is a picture of the second drawer I bought. I was just going to paint the inside but then had an idea to stack them. So I nailed them together...and waLah!! a shelf

 Then I painted them a mustard ...yummie

 I scavenged my garage for some things to put on the shelf and I found a plush pink shelf that happened to fit perfect on top of the shelf. 

 There it is a perfect fit...I love it when that happens :)

 I nailed in some vintage hanging birds so I can hang things in there

 I pulled out the white paint and scrapped the shelf to add some shabbyness...

Thanks so much for taking a look, I love sharing my fun activities with everyone. This will for sure go in my shop! Wahoo...

Bockmann Family Vacation

BOCKMANN VACATION

Ohhh what fun we had on our 7 day vacation driving through to Colorado was an adventure. 

After the fun day I had at the shop with the birthday party I came home and packed and we were off to Las Vegas, NV. The first night we stayed in a massive 2,200 hotel room at the JW Marriot resort. I have to say it was an amazing room. We walked around the hotels and stuffed our faces at the buffets. I love looking at the hotels I get so much inspiration from there unique ideas and decorating

 After 2 days in Las Vegas we traveled to Glen Wood Springs, Co. and stayed there 2 days. It was a quaint little town and beautiful!!! But of course we had to take a stop at Crocker Barrel...our family favorite. I just have to confess we ate there 3 times on our visit lol yiPpes!!! Then we took the tram up to the mountain to check out the fairy caverns...it was so cool. 

 The girls were getting anxious to go Colorado Springs, Co to see there grandpa. We packed our belongings and started to driving to grandpas. The princess room grandpa and betty prepared for them was so cute it was thrashed in maybe 2 min lol. We heard allot about focus on the family Adventures of Odessy place to go to, so we went and the kids had a blast.

Our cousin Emily Brumley took our family pictures and they came our so wonderful.

We stayed with grandpa for 4 days then left and drove to Tempe, NV and stayed at a luxurious resort. The girls enjoyed the pools with a water slide. Everything was going great until London stepped on a cactus it was all down hill from there lol. We were ready to go home and get in our own beds. We enjoyed our vacation and had wonderful family time together..My hubby is the best!

Just wanted to share our little adventure we shared we had a blast!!

Garage Sewing!!!

Garage Sewing!!!

Well my neighbor and I Lisa decided to get together and sew in my garage...(please don't judge my messy garage) I busted out the long tables and sassy table clothes, lined up the machines and we were ready to go. I helped lisa figure out her machine and she did very well practicing her straight lines.  We had a blast it was awesome getting together and learning new things. Maybe we will make it into a new fad! "Garage sewing" hehe sounds like fun to me.
